I designed this card set for my Joyful Heart Stampers Meeting in October. The cards are very simple and the holder is simple and beautiful for a great and easy gift.
Project Recipe
Cut a Clear Acetate Box in half at 4 inches.
Place 1 half in the Swirl embossing folder, leaving the bottom of the box sticking out the side. Run it thru the Big Shot..you may have to use just one clear plate and shim. Play with it til you get a good impression.
Stamp the crock/candycane image in black on Whisper White, and punch out with 2" punch. Color with markers or Stampin' Blends as I did.
Also, use Starburst punch to punch out Real Red circles to layer.
Cut a strip of 12X12 Designer Paper at 1-1/4" and wrap around the Acetate box that you have embossed, opened and then closed the bottom. Adhere ends of strip together in the front as it will be covered by the circle. Then tie a piece of red ribbon to the left side, overtop the strip you just taped. Apply the circle with glue dots over the ribbon.
Stamp the 4 cards with Merry Christmas and the corner stamp as shown, in Momento Black ink. Adhere a 3-3/4" X 1-1/4" piece of Designer paper to each card and apply the finished circles. You can even stamp the envelopes if you like before gifting.
