H ave you seen that wonderful Butterfly Brilliance stamp set? You can stamp SIX butterflies at one time! It made just the right background for this Easter card.
Project Recipe
Card Base: Cut Mango Melody 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Front: Cut Basic White paper 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp the card front with Butterfly Brilliance stamp set with Mango Melody ink. Attach to Mango Melody card base.
Die cut a white circle with the 2nd largest circle in the Stitched Shapes dies. Use scallop circle from the Layering Circle dies to cut a black scallop circle that is just larger than the Stitched White circle.
Stamp sentiment with Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Attach stamped white circle to scallop black circle. Attach these circles to card front.
Die cut (or fussy cut) butterfly from Butterfly Bijou paper. Attach the butterfly at the back of the butterfly body to white circle. Apply Wink of Stella to wings.
Use Mango Melody Blends marker to color rhinestones and attach to the card front.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
I used the Butterfly Brilliance stamp set with Mango Melody ink to stamp the envelope flap.
