Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Grapefruit Grove Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Poppy Parade Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 3-1/4" from Grapefruit Grove Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 3-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 3" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 3" from Grapefruit Grove Cardstock
Insert the Poppy Parade rectangle into the Swirls & Curls Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Place the folder with the card stock inside on a Cutting Pad on your Big Shot Platform at the lowest possible setting. Place a Cutting Pad on top of the folder and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the dry embossed Poppy Parade rectangle to the front of the Grapefruit Grove card.
Mount a sentiment of your choice from the Itty Bitty Greetings Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Grapefruit Grove Ink Pad. Stamp it near the bottom of the large white rectangle.
Unlock the 1-3/4" Circle Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped sentiment into the punch and get it positioned in the lower right of the punching area. Punch.
As you are ready to stamp using the Making Every Day Bright Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp
Mount the small heart image from the Making Every Day Bright Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Poppy Parade Ink Pad. Stamp it at a slight angle just above the sentiment on the right side.
Unlock the 2" Circle Punch. Slide the Grapefruit Grove strip into the punch. Punch.
Adhere the sentiment circle to the Grapefruit Grove circle.
Adhere the matted circle sentiment to the upper left side of the card front about 7/8" in from the top and left sides.
Mount the outline full feather image from the Making Every Day Bright Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Poppy Parade Ink Pad. Stamp it twice onto the strip of white cardstock, remembering to re-ink the stamp. Stamp so the feathers are pointing up to make it easier to punch them out later. Leave space between the stamped images. Leave the stamp on the block.
Re-ink the stamp with the Poppy Parade Ink Pad. Stamp it onto one end of the strip of Grapefruit Grove cardstock. Stamp so the feather is pointing up to make it easier to punch out later.
Mount the solid, inside feather pieces image from the Making Every Day Bright Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Grapefruit Grove Ink Pad. Stamp it inside each of the previously stamped feather images, remembering to re-ink the stamp each time.
Unlock the Christmas Bulb Builder Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide one of the stamped feathers into the punch and get it centered in the corresponding punching area. Punch. Repeat with the other two feathers.
If desired, use the Paper Snips to trim off some of the cardstock a the base of each feather.
Adhere the three feathers so they overlap each other a bit to the upper left of the sentiment circle so the points of the feathers are hanging down.
Cut an 8" piece of the Grapefruit Grove twine from the Nature's Twine.
Tie the twine in a small bow. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the twine bow to the ends of the feathers.
Carefully peel up 3 Grapefruit Grove pearls from a sheet of Share What You Love Artisan Pearls making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them randomly to the front of the card.
