# simplestamping birthday card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a cutting and scoring tool:
- card from Mossy Meadow Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 3-3/4" of outlined leaves on green background design from Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/4" x 3-1/2" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp using the Magnolia Blooms Photopolymer Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put some paper (Grid Paper works great) on top of the mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the open magnolia bloom image from the Magnolia Blooms Photopolymer Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Mossy Meadow Ink Pad. Stamp in the upper left and bottom right corners of the large vanilla rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Change the orientation of the stamp. Let some of the image go off the edges. Leave the stamp on the block.
Mount the magnolia bud with leaves image from the Magnolia Blooms Photopolymer Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Mossy Meadow Ink Pad. Stamp in the upper left corner of the large vanilla rectangle around the previously stamped bloom a few times. Then, stamp it once in the lower right corner above the previously stamped bloom. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Change the orientation of the stamp. Let some of the image go off the edges.
Adhere the stamped vanilla rectangle to the front of the Mossy Meadow card.
Re-ink the open magnolia bloom image on Block D with the Mossy Meadow Ink Pad. Stamp it on the left side of the small vanilla rectangle at an angle.
Mount the "thank you" or "happy birthday" sentiment from the Magnolia Blooms Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Mossy Meadow Ink Pad. Stamp it just to the right of the previously stamped bloom near the bottom of the rectangle.
Adhere the stamped vanilla rectangle to the center of the Magnolia Lane Designer Paper rectangle, then to the center of the front of the card.
