Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Soft Sea Foam Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Night Of Navy Cardstock
- 3" x 3-7/8" from Old Olive Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 3-7/8" of green leafy stems on light green background design from Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper
- 2-3/4" x 3-1/4" from Whisper White or Basic White Cardstock
- 3/4" x 3" from Soft Sea Foam Cardstock
Insert the Night Of Navy cardstock rectangle into the Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the dry embossed Night Of Navy rectangle to the front of the Soft Sea Foam card.
Pick out the line of leaves edge die from the Birds & More Dies. Put it on top of the Old Olive rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it will cut as close to possible along the top edge of one of the 3-3/4" sides. Run through the tool. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tool to remove the pieces.
Adhere the piece of Paper Blooms Designer Paper to the bottom of the leafy edge cut Old Olive rectangle.
Open the Gilded Leafing Embellishment and pour at least some of it into a large container with a lid. Be careful, the leafing tends to go everywhere!
Put a strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive along the long edge of the designer paper/Old Olive die cut rectangle just below the die cut leaf edge. It should overlap the top of the designer paper a little. Make sure the Tear & Tape goes along the entire edge by extending the Tear & Tape past the left and right edges. Use Paper Snips to trim off excess Tear & Tape on the left and right edges.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape Strip. Place the cardstock/designer paper with Tear & Tape along the top edge upside down into the Gilded Leafing Embellishment container and press down lightly.
Remove the cardstock/designer paper from the container and use the flat paintbrush to brush off excess leafing embellishment. Return the leafing embellishment to the container to use again later.
Adhere the gilded, die cut cardstock/designer paper rectangle to the front of the card so there is about 1/8" of Night Of Navy showing on the bottom, left, and right edges.
Pick out the large, mostly oval with notched ends label die from the Tasteful Labels Dies. Put it on top of the white rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the tool.
Mount the stems with lots of little leaves image from the Lovely You Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Soft Sea Foam Ink Pad. Stamp it on the vertical white label cut out so the leaves almost touch the left side and the bottom of the stems is about 1" from the bottom of the label cut out. Re-ink the stamp and stamp it again just to the right of the first image and slightly lower.
Mount the skinny stem with leaves image from the Lovely You Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp it once near the center of the vertical label cut out with the stem pointing down. Stamp it again WITHOUT RE-INKING just to the right of the first image and slightly lower.
Mount the small, single flower image from the Lovely You Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Night Of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp it over the bottoms of the stems on the left side of the label cut out.
Adhere the stamped label cut out to the front of the card on the right side so the bulge near the center of the vertical label is just above the line of gilded leafing.
Unlock the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch. Slide one short edge of the thin Soft Sea Foam strip into the left side of the punch (the side of the punch with the more rounded label top) as far as it will go. Punch. Repeat with the other end of the strip.
Pick out one of the shorter sentiments from the Lovely You Set. Mount it on Block G. Ink it up with the Night Of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the punched strip.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment strip to the front of the card so it overlaps the label cut out just below the line of gilded leafing.
Cut a 16" piece of the Night Of Navy twine from the Well Suited Twine Combo Pack.
Fold the twine in half. Tie a small bow in the center of the folded twine. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the twine bow to the front of the card where the bottom right side of the sentiment strip and the bottom right side of the label cut out meet.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up two tiny and two medium dots from a sheet of Gold Glitter Enamel Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere the two tiny dots to the ends of the sentiment label punch out. Adhere one medium dot to the center of the stamped Night Of Navy flower on the label cut out. Adhere the other medium dot to the upper left corner of the dry embossed Night Of Navy layer.
