P retty card using Stampin' Up! products including Brusho and Sale-A-Bration 2018 items.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and glimmer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Pear Pizzazz Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Perfect Plum Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Shimmery White Cardstock
- 2" x 3-3/4" from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper
Use an Aqua Painter to scribble some water across the center of the Shimmery White Cardstock rectangle. Sprinkle on some moss green Brusho Crystal Colour. Spritz the cardstock with water from a spray bottle (an old Stampin' Mist bottle works great). Use the Aqua Painter to spread the color around as desired. Sprinkle on more moss green Brusho and spritz with water again. Set aside to dry thoroughly. You can speed up drying with the Heat Tool if desired.
Pick out the "amazing" thinlit from the Celebrate You Thinlits. Place the glimmer paper rectangle on the Precision Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the "amazing" thinlit on top. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces.
Cut an 8" piece of Whisper White 1/4" Organza Ribbon. Tie a small bow. Trim the ends.
If the Shimmery White Cardstock is dry, then rub it all over with the Embossing Buddy.
Mount the outline lavender bouquet image on Block I. Ink it up with the VersaMark Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Brusho/Shimmery White rectangle.
Lay the stamped shimmery white cardstock on top of the Grid Paper in the center. Sprinkle on some White Stampin' Emboss Powder so it covers all of the VersaMark stamped image. Tap off excess powder. Return the excess powder to the container to use again later.
Heat the powder with the Heat Tool until it is completely melted (smooth and shiny).
Mount the watercolor lavender flowers inside image on Block D. Ink it up with the Perfect Plum Ink Pad and stamp it over the heat embossed flowers image. Use a tissue to wipe off excess ink.
Mount the set of 4 solid leaves image on Block A. Ink it up with the Pear Pizzazz Ink Pad. Stamp it inside the set of four leaves on the left side of the heat embossed bouquet. Wipe off excess ink with a tissue. If you want the leaves to be darker, re-ink the stamp and stamp them again. Be sure to wipe off excess ink with a tissue.
Mount the set of 2 solid leaves image on Block A. Ink it up with the Pear Pizzazz Ink Pad. Stamp it inside the set of two leaves on the right side of the heat embossed bouquet. Wipe off excess ink with a tissue. If you want the leaves to be darker, re-ink the stamp and stamp them again. Be sure to wipe off excess ink with a tissue.
Mount the group of 3 stems image on Block A. Ink it up with the Pear Pizzazz Ink Pad. Stamp it inside the stems on the bottom of the heat embossed bouquet. Wipe off excess ink with a tissue. If you want the stems to be darker, re-ink the stamp and stamp them again. Be sure to wipe off excess ink with a tissue.
Use the Chalk Marker to color in the bow on the heat embossed bouquet.
Place the "amazing" cut out upside down on one side of a Silicone Craft Sheet. Cut a Stamping Sponge into quarters and clamp the triangle edge of one quarter in a large binder clip. Squeeze a small amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue on one corner of the Silicone Craft Sheet. Dab the sponge into the glue and then lightly onto the back of the "amazing" cut out. Flip the "amazing" cut out over and adhere it to the Shimmer White/Brusho layer so it just overlaps the bottom of the stems on the heat embossed bouquet.
Put Tear & Tape Adhesive strips on the back of the Shimmery White layer as close to the sides as you can get.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape and add SNAIL to the center and adhere the Shimmery White layer to the Perfect Plum layer. Then, adhere them to the front of the Pear Pizzazz card.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the organza ribbon bow to the card front so it covers the top of the stamped bow on the heat embossed bouquet. Trim the ends again if needed.
