Project Recipe
Fold 4-1/4" x 11" Poppy Parade card base in half and burnish along the fold line.
2. Adhere 3-5/8" x 4-7/8" DSP to 3-3/4" x 5" Petal Pink layer and then to card front with Stampin’ Seal.
3. Die-cut 3-1/4" x 5" Petal Pink cardstock with Largest and Smallest Circles from Stylish Shapes Dies (nested to create a donut shape)
4. Fold approx. 3” of ribbon in half and staple to the outer edge of Petal Pink die-cut circle. Position circle on card front, but do NOT adhere in place. This will be your moving whirly mechanism.
5. Die-cut Foam Adhesive with smallest circle from Layering Circles Dies. Remove backing paper from one side and adhere to the card front, placing inside the cut out of the Petal Pink circle. Check to be sure the Petal Pink circle will spin once Foam Adhesive is in place.
6. Die-cut 2nd smallest Stylish Shapes circle from Petal Pink cardstock. Remove backing paper from Foam Adhesive circle and adhere layer to card front.
7. Stamp monkey on scrap of Pecan Pie cardstock with Pecan Pie ink. Stamp image again on scrap of Crumb Cake cardstock. Cut out with Monkey Builder punch. Adhere monkey face to body with Foam Adhesive.
8. Cut out ears from Petal Pink cardstock with Monkey Builder punch. Adhere to monkey face with liquid glue. Adhere monkey to center circle with liquid glue.
9. Stamp (7) bananas on scrap of Lemon Lolly cardstock with Daffodil Delight ink. Cut out with Monkey Builder punch. Adhere (6) punched bananas to card front with glue dots.
10. Using the Take Your Pick, apply Sequins.
11. Stamp sentiment on the 3-5/8" x 4-7/8" Basic White layer with Pecan Pie ink. Adhere to 3-3/4" x 5" Petal Pink layer with Stampin’ Seal. Adhere layers to the card inside with Stampin’ Seal. Adhere punched banana to card inside with glue dots.
