Project Recipe
Cut paper, Card base -Very Vanilla 11 x 4 1/4 and top mat 5 1/4 x 4. Mat, Cajun Craze 5 3/8 x 4 1/8. Velum 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 (may need two pieces depending on how many & which size leaves you choose to use) and a 4 x 1 3/4 strip to stamp sentiment on.
Stamp leaves of choice on velum using VersaMark Pad. Cover with Embossing Powder and heat until set. Emboss sentiment on right side of vellum strip set, aside until needed. Using the Leaflet Framelits cut out leaves . You can also fussy cut any leaves for more detail if desired.
Color the back side of each leaf using a blender pen & the Rich Regal Markers or ink pads. For a deeper color, use marker directly on leaf. When you have the desired effect set aside to dry completely. HInts...If the color is to dark carefully wipe with a wet paper towel while ink is still wet. I backed my top leaf with a blank Vanilla cut out. It helps pop the colors and keep the other leaves from showing thru the velum.
Emboss the vanilla mat using the Boho Chic TIEF. Stamp sentiment on inside of card. I used Always Artichoke. I also added a few leaves to the corner and colored them with Markers.
Assemble card using Snail. Use glue dots to adhere the Sentiment strip to card. Stack your leaves as desired. I used glue dots to adhere the bottom leaves and Dimensionals for the top one. Make a bow with the Gold cording and secure to stems with glue dots.
