Matting pieces for the front of the card
Balmy Blue card stock 14.1cm x 9.8cm - 1 piece
By the Bay DSP 13.6cm x 9.3cm - 1 piece.
Additional Basic White card stock to complete your card.
On your Balmy Blue card matting piece for the card front. Cut in 1/2" from all 4 sides and cut out the inside of the card stock and create a big window. (This is to reduce the number of layers when you cut your window out for the lever of the card).
Adhere the DSP to the frame of the layering matting piece.
Attach the matting piece with the DSP attached to the front of your A5 card base.
Select the largest stitched square die from the Sytlish Shape dies and centre it on your card front and put through the cut and emboss machine.
Get your inner panel (Balmy Blue) scored at 1cm, 6.1cm and 11.1.cm.
Line the 2 centre score lines of the card base and the inner panel up.
Place a pencil mark above the square window and below the square window.
Cut into the score line and cut along that score line to create a small top tab and a larger bottom tab.
Attach your DSP and basic white card to your 3 panels on the inner card panel.
Line up the centre score lines again of the card base and the inner panel.
Adhere the right hand panel to your card base.
Adhere the two tabs to your card base making sure your centre score lines are still lined up.
On the second largest stitched square Stylish Shape die, stamp your sentiment of choice.
Adhere that to the largest stitched square die shape.
Close your card up and apply adhesive to the inside panel on the right hand side and place your sentiment layered panel inside the stitched square window frame and press down.
To finish off your card, decorate it as desired. I chose some shells and the birds from Seaside Bay bundle and adhesive flat backed pearls.
