Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, designer paper, foil sheets and glimmer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Shaded Spruce Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Mossy Meadow Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 5-1/4" of green and white foliage and red berries on dark green background design from Boughs Of Holly 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 3/8" x 5-1/4" from Gold 12" x 12" Foil Sheets
- 1-3/4" x 2-3.4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 4" square from Shaded Spruce Cardstock
- 1-1/2" square of white glimmer paper from Real Red & White 6" x 6" Glimmer Paper
- 1-1/2" square of red glimmer paper from Real Red & White 6" x 6" Glimmer Paper
Insert the large Mossy Meadow rectangle into the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder so the word pattern runs horizontally across the horizontal cardstock. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the strip of Boughs Of Holly Designer Paper to the bottom of the horizontal, dry embossed Mossy Meadow rectangle. The bottom, left, and right sides will be even.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the thin strip of Gold Foil Sheet to the cardstock/designer paper rectangle so it covers the seam between the two.
Adhere the layered cardstock/designer paper/foil sheet rectangle to the front of the Shaded Spruce card so the designer paper is on the bottom.
As you are ready to stamp using the Leaves Of Holly Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "season's greetings" or "Christmas wishes" sentiment from the Leaves Of Holly Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Shaded Spruce Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white strip.
Pick out the smaller label die from the Holly Berry Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the sentiment is centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Adhere the sentiment label cut out to the front of the card so it is centered over the foil strip and is about 1/2" from the right edge of the card.
Pick out both of the more detailed holly leaf dies from the Holly Berry Dies. Put them on top of the Shaded Spruce square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Make sure the dies do NOT overlap. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the leaf cut outs to the front of the card as shown so they overlap each other and the left side of the sentiment label cut out a bit.
Pick out the open berries die from the Holly Berry Dies. Put it on top of the white glimmer paper square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Pick out the more detailed berries die from the Holly Berry Dies. Put it on top of the Real Red glimmer paper square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the red glimmer berries cut out to the top of the white glimmer berries cut out.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the layered glimmer berries cut outs to the front of the card as shown so it overlaps the lower left side of the sentiment label cut out and the bottoms of the leaf stems.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a large pearlescent white gem from a sheet of Elegant Faceted Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the front of the card in the upper right corner as shown.
