B irthday card made using the Large Letters dies, with Confetti Celebration and Gorgeous Grunge. Design inspiration Fran Sabad.
Project Recipe
Using Thick Whisper White card 10.5cm x 14.8cm, place your die cuts to get the desired layout. I also used the stamp-a-ma-jig imaging sheet to see how the sentiment would look.
Once you're happy with the layout, remove the numbers 2 and 4, leaving only 1, 3 and 5 to be die cut from this piece. You will cut numbers 2 and 4 from a separate/scrap piece of the same cardstock.
Using daubers or sponges, apply colour to your cardbase front (14.8cm x 21cm Score and Fold at 10.5cm) in the area that will show through the die cut numbers.
Place the die cut piece over your sponged card base to see how it looks.
Colour your die cut numbers 2 and 4 with sponge/dauber and put dimensionals on the back, ready for mounting on to the die cut card front.
Stamp the sentiment (I use Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to help with accurate placement) on to the front of the card and decorate as desired. Then mount this piece on to card front with dimensionals. This isn't the time to be skimpy with these. You need plenty of them. Make sure your piece is lined up properly with the card base before sticking down. Then place your final two numbers in position.
Decorate the inside as desired.
Sit back and Enjoy!
