A thank you card in Highland Heather featuring the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper.
Project Recipe
Cardbase: Highland Heather, 5.5" X 8.5", score at 4.25" and fold on score line.
Inside Mat: 4" X 5.25"
Designer Series Paper: 4 1/8 X 5 3/8"
4" X 2.5" (use a darker coordinating piece)
Stamping:
Using Garden Green Ink, stamp first and second generation ink onto the lower left and top right corner using the inside piece of whisper white cardstock.
Stamp envelope - lower left corner the same as the cardstock and the left flap, too.
Using the branch stand and Garden Green ink stamp on the diagonal with the stem end in the center an branch angled to the upper with corner, then repeat with branch going toward the lower left corner.
Stamp sentiment using Gray Granite ink on a piece of scrap cardstock, the Thanks a Bunch sentiment fit onto a 1/2" strip. Also use Gray Granite Ink to stamp background on the large piece of DSP beside the branches, use first and second generation inking for texture.
Using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink (or for a softer look, use Gray Granite ink) onto Whisper White Cardstock - you will need 2 of these.
Color flowers with blends. I used 4 colors, Highland Heather dark, Purple Posey dark, Highland Heather light, and Purple Posey light.
I used Mango Melody light and dark on the center.
Fussy cut the two flowers you've colored.
Put Wink of Stella on the flower.
Assemble the card:
Adhere the inside layer to the card base.
Adhere strip of DSP to the stamped DSP layer.
Adhere ribbon in across the card in the middle of the strip of DSP, encoring it on the back side.
Adhere this piece to the card base using black dimensionals.
Build Focal piece:
Use the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch to trim ends of the sentiment.
Lay out the flowers, sentiment, and wood elements. Adhere to card front.
Embelish card with a bow and rhinestones.
