T his paper is so pretty, the dies that go with the paper coordinate so well with the prints.
Project Recipe
Card Base: Cut Gorgeous Grape 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Highland Heather paper 4 X 5 1/4
Card Front: Cut Hydrangea print paper 3 7/8 X 5 ⅛ from the Hydrangea Hill Designer Series paper pack. Attach the card front to the card mat. Attach these to the card base.
Cut Highland Heather 2 ⅜ X 3 ¾. I used stitched rectangle die to cut the white piece, if you don’t have those dies, cut white card stock 2 ¼ X 3 ⅝. Attach white piece to Highland Heather mat. Attach this piece to the lower right side of the card front.
Using Hydrangea Dies to cut stem & leaves and Hydrangea flower piece. For the leaf, I cut it from Old Olive paper with adhesive backing on the paper before cutting. I cut the Hydrangea flower piece from a print paper in the Hydrangea Hill paper pack.
Cut a 6” piece of Gorgeous Grape sheer ribbon. Peel adhesive off the back of leaf, wrap ribbon around stem and knot. Attach the leaf to the lower edge of the white rectangle on the card front. Attach the Hydrangea flower piece above the leaf with dimensionals. Add three rhinestones to the lower left hand corner of white rectangle.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
