hat's the difference between framelits and thinlits? Read on.
I now store my framelits/thinlits in a new way (new for me).
Project Recipe
I have been using Art Bin cases and magnets to store my framelits/thinlits, but this way has become very heavy.
I was always looking in the catalog to see if a stamp set had framelits to match. Now if there is a coordinating stamp set, I store both in one case.
Here is a picture of the old way of using the magnetic sheet that I stored in the Art Bin case.
I used a heavy trimmer (not a small SU trimmer) to cut the magnetic sheet. It is heavy duty and is thicker than most fridge magnets. I cut the sheet 4 3/4 X 6 3/4.
To keep the sheet in place, I used a 1" wide two-sided tape like the red tape SU was selling. I got the 1" wide from a friend long ago.
Trying to locate who sells it this wide.
I found an incredible lady that has FREE inserts you can print for your cases. She has just about any SU product as a label or insert.
You can find her products at bevadams.com/clear-case-inserts-for-supplies/
*Even though her print outs are free, she does have a place for donations.
Here is the inside of the case with one magnetic sheet.
SU sells 4 cases for $6 Item#119105 which is about $1.50 each. Does not include shipping.
Amazon sells 25 cases for $1.60 each. If you have Prime, there is no shipping.
About the same price I guess.
Here is a picture if you need two sheets for more framelits/thinlits.
Answer to Question:
Framelits "frame" certain images from the stamp set.
Thinlits do not have coordinating stamps.
Who knew?
