Project Recipe
Cut a piece of Petal Pink cardstock 8 ½ x 5 ½”. Fold in half and use your bone folder to burnish the fold line at 4 ¼ “. This will be your card base.
Cut a piece of Petal Pink cardstock 4 x 5 ¼ “. This will be the background. Using the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder, run that piece of Petal Pink cardstock through the embossing machine.
Using Whisper White cardstock and the Stitched Shapes dies, die cut a 3” circle.
Using Crumb Cake ink and the To a Wild Rose stamp set, stamp “hello” onto the bottom half of the circle. Adhere the circle to the embossed background leaving ½ “ hanging over the right side. Trim the edge of the circle so it is flush with the background.
Using the Rose outline stamp from the To a Wild Rose stamp set and Crumb Cake ink, stamp the Rose outline onto a piece of Whisper White card stock .
Using the solid Rose stamp from the To a Wild Rose stamp set, use Petal Pink ink to stamp onto the Rose outline. Make sure to “stamp off” on a scrap piece of paper first to lighten the ink’s intensity.
Using the remaining Rose stamp from the To a Wild Rose stamp set, use Petal Pink to stamp onto the Rose outline and solid rose. There is no need to “stamp off” the ink first this time. Die cut the finished rose using the Wild Rose die set.
Die cut two leaves using two leaf dies from the Wild Rose die set and a small piece of soft sea foam velveteen paper. Stamp the leaf in soft sea foam ink using leaves from the To a Wild Rose stamp set.
Adhere the rose and leaves to the card using dimensionals. Add 3 white pearls.
