Project Recipe
Cardstock:
Base, So Saffron 8.5” X 5.5” scored at 4.5”
Mat Layer, Soft Suede, 4 1/8” X 5 3/8”
DSP, 4” X 5.25”, Strip 4 1/8” X .75”
Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz, and Soft Suede card stock, scraps
Stamp:
Envelope: Stamp plumeria on the lower corner and envelope flap in Real Red ink.
Inside layer: Stamp sentiment and a plumeria in the corner.
Stamp sentiment for front and 2 plumeria using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Whisper White card stock.
Die Cuts and Punches:
Cut the front sentiment, Hello, using the Classic Label Punch stamp close to one side. Thread the other side in from the top and cut close to the words.
Die cut two of the tall trees from Majestic Mountains out of Pear Pizzazz. Why? They look a bit like ferns when the top is cut off.
Die cut the two plumeria flowers.
Coloring
Using your blends, color the darker colors in the center of the flowers and use the lighter pink for the rest of the flower. You have 3 to color - 2 plumeria you’ve cut and the on on the inside layer.
Assemble your card:
Adhere the DSP strip to a strip of Soft Suede cut 1/4” larger than the DSP. Use Multi purpose glue.
Adhere the DSP for the front onto the Soft Suede mat, adhere this to the card base.
Adhere inside layer using multi purpose glue.
Adhere DSP strip to card using dimensionals.
Arrange pieces of the tree die cuts to the back of the plumeria die cuts. Adhere to DSP strip.
Use mini-dimensionals to adhere the sentiment.
Embellish
Use Wink of Stella on the plumeria flowers on the front of the card and inside layer.
Champagne gems are the flower centers on the front and 3 more are arranged not he card.
