Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Mango Melody Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" from Petal Pink Cardstock
- 3-1/8" x 4-3/8" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 4-3/8" of small orange and pink daisies scattered on white background design from Dandy Designs 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2" x 6-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp using the Hello Ladybug Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "may your greatest wish come true" sentiment from the Hello Ladybug Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Calypso Coral Ink Pad. Stamp it in the lower right corner of the horizontal 3-1/8" x 4-3/8" white rectangle as close to the bottom edge as possible and about 5/8" from the right edge.
Adhere the strip of Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper to the top of the stamped white rectangle so the top, left, and right edges are even.
Adhere the stamped and layered white rectangle to the center of the Petal Pink rectangle.
Cut a 10-1/2" piece of the Pumpkin Pie twine from the Three Twine Combo Pack. Fold the twine in half.
Lay the folded twine across the stamped and layered rectangle so it covers the seam between the cardstock and designer paper. Fold the ends of the folded twine over and secure the ends of the folded twine in place with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape strips and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the rectangle as needed. Adhere to the front of the Mango Melody card in the center.
Mount the large, single daisy image from the Hello Ladybug Set on Block C so one petal is straight down. Ink it up with the Petal Pink Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the thin white strip. Make sure one petal is pointing straight down. Clean the stamp with the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and/or Simply Shammy, but leave it on the block.
Re-ink the large, single daisy image on Block C using the Mango Melody Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the thin white strip, leaving space between the images so you can punch them out. Make sure one petal is pointing straight down. Clean the stamp with the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and/or Simply Shammy, but leave it on the block.
Re-ink the large, single daisy image on Block C using the Calypso Coral Ink Pad. Stamp it on the remaining end of the thin white strip, leaving space between the images so you can punch them out. Make sure one petal is pointing straight down. Clean the stamp with the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and/or Simply Shammy and put it away.
Unlock the Medium Daisy Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide a daisy image into the punch and get it lined up in the punching area. Punch. Repeat until you've punched out all three daisies.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the daisies on top of each other so they are all slightly offset and form a fuller daisy with the Mango Melody daisy on top.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the layered daisy to the front of the card so it is centered over the twine on the left side as shown.
Cut an 8" piece of the Pumpkin Pie twine from the Three Twine Combo Pack.
Slide one end of the twine under the twine already on the card front just to the right of layered daisy punch outs. Tie in place with a small bow. Trim the ends of the twine.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 2 large and 1 small Petal Pink sequins from a sheet of Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the card front as shown. Make sure one large sequin is in the center of the layered daisies punch outs.
