P layful tag using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" from Lovely Lipstick Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 2-1/2" from Flirty Flamingo Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 2-1/2" from Whisper White Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp using the Hello Cupcake Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the cupcake bottom image from the Hello Cupcake Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Soft Suede Ink Pad. Stamp it near the bottom of the large white rectangle.
Mount the cake layer image from the Hello Cupcake Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Lovely Lipstick Ink Pad. Stamp it right on top of the cupcake bottom.
Mount the cupcake frosting image from the Hello Cupcake Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Flirty Flamino Ink Pad. Stamp it right on top of the cake layer of the cupcake.
Pick out the oval framelit from the Layering Ovals Framelits that cuts out a 1-7/8" wide oval. Place the stamped cupcake image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the oval framelit on top so it is centered over the cupcake image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Mount the sprinkles image from the Hello Cupcake Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Lovely Lipstick Ink Pad. Stamp it all over the frosting on the cupcake. Remember to re-ink the stamp every so often, but stamp some without re-inking. Let the sprinkles overlap some.
Mount the heart cupcake pick image from the Hello Cupcake Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Lovely Lipstick Ink Pad. Stamp it in the frosting on the top left side.
Use the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to paint some shimmer onto the frosting on the cupcake.
Pick out the scalloped oval framelit from the Layering Ovals Framelits that cuts out a 2-1/4" wide scalloped oval. Place the Lovely Lipstick rectangle on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the scalloped oval framelit on top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the cupcake oval to the center of the scalloped Lovely Lipstick oval.
Mount the "Celebrate your day!" sentiment from the Hello Cupcake Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Lovely Lipstick Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the small white rectangle.
Pick out the oval framelit from the Layering Ovals Framelits that cuts out a 1" wide oval. Place the stamped sentiment on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the oval framelit on top so it is centered over the sentiment. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Pick out the scalloped oval framelit from the Layering Ovals Framelits that cuts out a 1-1/4" wide scalloped oval. Place the Flirty Flamingo rectangle on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the scalloped oval framelit on top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the sentiment oval to the center of the scalloped Flirty Flamingo oval.
Put a bit of SNAIL in the top center of the back of the matted sentiment ovals. Adhere the matted sentiment ovals to the bottom of the cupcake ovals so they hang off the bottom a bit.
Tip: If you have excess adhesive on the back of the sentiment ovals, use an adhesive eraser to remove the adhesive.
Use the 1/8" Handheld Circle Punch to punch a hole in the top of the cupcake ovals.
Cut a 6" piece of the Flirty Flamingo 1/8" ribbon from the All My Love Ribbon Combo Pack.
Slide one end of the ribbon through the hole in the tag. Holding both ends of the ribbon together, tie a half knot in the ends. Trim the ends.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a flower-shaped Grapefruit Grove sequin from a sheet of Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the right side of the cupcake bottom just below the cake layer.
