B right and playful Christmas card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Real Red Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Blueberry Bushel Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 5-1/8" of tiny white dots all over Blueberry Bushel background design from 2018-2020 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
- 1-1/2" x 5-1/8" from Whisper White Cardstock
Carefully tear a small amount of paper (no more than 1/8") from one long side of the Blueberry Bushel piece of designer paper.
Carefully tear a small amount of cardstock (no more than 1/4") from one long side of the skinny strip of white cardstock.
WITHOUT adhering, place the strip of torn designer paper across the top of the large white rectangle so the torn edge is facing down. Also WITHOUT adhering, place the strip of torn white cardstock along the bottom of the large white rectangle so the torn edge is facing up.
Mount the "Merry & Bright" sentiment from the Hearts Come Home Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Real Red Ink Pad. Stamp it on the right side of the large white rectangle halfway between the two torn pieces.
Mount the small house image of your choice from the Hearts Come Home Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Blueberry Bushel Ink Pad. Slide the torn white layer down just a tiny bit (no more than 1/4") and stamp the house image just above it just to the left of center on the large white rectangle.
Mount the Santa's sleigh and reindeer image from the Hearts Come Home Set on Block G. Carefully ink up only the Santa silhouette and top of the sleigh using the brush tip of the Real Red Marker. Carefully ink up the reindeer, reins, and sleigh runners using the brush tip of the Blueberry Bushel Marker. If you get some blue along the bottom of the sleigh top, that is okay. Breathe on the stamp to moisten the ink. Stamp on the large white rectangle at a slight upwards angle on the left side so it is just below the torn designer paper layer and the reindeer are over the upper left side of the house image.
NOW, adhere the torn designer paper and torn white layers to the top and bottom of the large, stamped white layer. Make sure the top of the torn white layer covers the bottom of the stamped house image. Use Paper Snips to trim off any excess cardstock or designer paper as needed.
Adhere the layered white rectangle to the Blueberry Bushel rectangle.
Cut a 6" piece of Real Red 1/8" Solid Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the top edge of the layers so the ribbon is about 1/2" from the top edge. Flip the layers over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add more SNAIL to the back of the cardstock. Adhere it to the front of the Real Red card.
Cut a 3" piece of Real Red 1/8" Solid Ribbon.
Slide one end of the ribbon under the ribbon on the card front near the left side and tie it in place using a half knot. Trim the ends.
