Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer and punches:
- 5-3/4" x 6-1/4" of pink and white dots on shiny red background design from From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 2 red and pink foil pattern hearts on white background punched from red and pink foil pattern hearts on white background design from From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper using the smooth heart punch in the Heart Punch Pack
- 2-1/2" x 5" from Whisper White Cardstock
Place the paper insert from the candy box on the back side of the large From My Heart Specialty Designer Paper piece. Trace around the paper insert using a pen or pencil.
Cut out the heart shape just inside the traced line using Paper Snips.
Use SNAIL Adhesive in the center of the heart cut out to adhere the heart cut out to the inside of the candy box lid.
Fill the candy box with treats.
Wrap the Real Red 3/8" Double-Stitched Satin Ribbon around the filled candy box across the center and tie in place with a knot on the right side. Trim the ends of the ribbon.
If you haven't already done so, punch out the patterned red and pink foil hearts from the piece of From My Heart Specialty Designer Paper using the smooth heart punch from the Heart Punch Pack.
Pick out one red and one pink Heart Doily.
Adhere the punched out hearts to the centers of the doilies.
Use strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the doilies to the top of the box lid so they overlap each other and the ribbon a bit.
As you are ready to stamp using the Heartfelt Photopolymer Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the large doily double heart image from the Heartfelt Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Flirty Flamingo Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the white strip.
Unlock the scalloped heart punch from the Heart Punch Pack. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped doily heart image into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch.
Mount the large dotted outline heart image from the Heartfelt Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Real Red Ink Pad. Stamp it on the other end of the white strip.
Mount the "So lucky to have a friend...", "From My Heart to Yours," or "Love You Lots" sentiment from the Heartfelt Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Flirty Flamingo Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the previously stamped dotted heart outline image.
Unlock the smooth-edged heart punch from the Heart Punch Pack. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped sentiment heart image into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch.
Adhere the sentiment heart punch out to the center of the doily heart punch out.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the layered heart punch outs to the top of the box lid so it overlaps the other other two hearts and the ribbon a bit.
