Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Sahara Sand Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Early Espresso Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 5-1/4" from Sahara Sand Cardstock
- 2" x 5-1/4" of dark brown ties, glasses, arrows, mustaches, stars, etc. on light brown design from He's The Man 12" x 12" Specialty 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the images are vertical on the vertical rectangle
- 2" x 3" from Sahara Sand Cardstock
Place the Early Espresso rectangle vertically on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface.
Mount the "No.1" circle image from the He's All That Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp it randomly all over the right half of the vertical Early Espresso rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Let some of the images go off the top, bottom, and right edges. Change the orientation a little each time.
Adhere the strip of He's The Man Designer Paper to the center of the 2-1/4" x 5-1/4" Sahara Sand strip. The top and bottom edges will be even.
Cut a 3" piece of the Early Espresso 1/4" Faux Suede Trim.
Lay the ribbon across the matted cardstock/designer paper strip so it is about 1-3/8" from the bottom. Fold the ends of the ribbon over and secure the ribbon in place on the back of the rectangle using strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the Sahara Sand rectangle. Adhere it to the left side of the stamped Early Espresso rectangle so there is about 1/4" of Early Espresso showing on the left side. The top and bottom edges will be even.
Adhere the layered stamped Early Espresso rectangle to the front of the Sahara Sand card.
Mount the "hello handsome," "holy smokes you're amazing", "happy birthday to a classic," or "wishing you a happy Father's Day" image from the He's All That Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the 2" x 3" Sahara Sand rectangle.
Pick out the notched rectangle die from the All That Dies. Put it on top of the stamped image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the image is centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the cut out to the front of the card so it is centered over the ribbon and the right side of the matted designer paper.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Early Espresso 1/4" Faux Suede Trim.
Slide one end of the ribbon under the ribbon already on the card front on the left side of the sentiment cut out. Tie in place with a half knot. Trim the ends.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 2 small dots from the sheet of Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the ends of the sentiment cut out if there is room.
