I know religious cards aren't for everyone, but when I saw the Rejoice In Him stamp set, I was inspired. This is an Easter Card that I'd be proud to send to my loved ones.
Project Recipe
Measurements of Materials
CS 4 ¼” x 11” Starry Sky (Scored at 5 ½”)
5 ¼” x 4” White (Cut 2)
2 ¼” x 5 ¼” Cajun Craze
2” x 1 ¼” Starry Sky
Scraps of White
DSP 5 ¼” x 4” Dainty Flowers
2” x 5 ¼” Dainty Flowers printed floral strip
Cut and Score all pieces. Burnish well on score lines.
Front of the card
• Adhere the DSP to the Cajun Craze CS then attach to the white CS.
• Stamp the sentiment in the lower right-hand corner of the cardstock.
• Run the CS through the Cascading Ribbons embossing folder.
• Stamp Jesus on the small square of white cardstock.
• Die cut using the All That dies.
• Mount the tag to the small square of Starry Sky CS.
• Using the Very Best Trio punch, punch holes for the ribbon.
• Run the ribbon through the tag.
• Using dimensionals, attach the tag to the front of the card. Wrap the ribbon around the white CS and attach in the back with mini glue dots.
• Adhere the white CS to the front of the card base.
Inside of the card
• Die cut the white CS using the largest die you have. I used a retired Stampin’ Up! die.
• Stamp the sentiment and palm branch onto the die cut CS
• Using the Stampin’ Up! Blender Pen, drag some of the color from the palm branch into each of the leaves. This will give them a light subtle color.
• Mount onto the 5 ¼” x 4” Dainty Flowers DSP.
• Mount the whole thing inside the card base.
