Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a cutting and scoring tool:
- card from Granny Apple Green Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 3-3/4" x 5" from Sahara Sand Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 3-1/4" from Granny Apple Green Cardstock
- 3/4" x 3" from Sahara Sand Cardstock
- 3/4" x 3" from Granny Apple Green Cardstock
Lightly spritz the large Sahara Sand rectangle with water and insert into the Basket Weave 3D Embossing Folder. Place the folder with the paper inside on your die cutting and embossing tool and run through the machine. Set aside to dry.
Mount the large, outline apple image from the Harvest Hellos Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Granny Apple Green Ink Pad. Stamp it on end of the 2-1/4" x 3-1/4" Granny Apple Green strip.
Unlock the Apple Builder Punch. Hold it upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the stamped apple image into the punch and get it centered in the corresponding punching area. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked.
Mount the sentiment of choice from the Harvest Hellos Set on an appropriate size block. Ink it up with the Night of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the apple punch out at a slight angle.
If the Sahara Sand rectangle is dry, proceed with the next step.
Tip: You can speed up drying with a Heat Tool if needed.
Use strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the Sahara Sand rectangle to the front of the card so it is centered.
Cut a 5" piece of Granny Apple Green 1/2" Textured Weave Ribbon so it is sharply angled at both ends.
Lay the ribbon on the card front at a slight angle so the right end just touches the right edge of the card front and the left end is about 1" from the bottom edge. Use a small piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive in the center to hold the ribbon in place.
Cut a 12" to 14" piece of Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Baker's Twine.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape holding the ribbon in place. Place the twine on the card front so it forms loops across the center of the ribbon. Press the twine onto the Tear & Tape Adhesive and add more small pieces as needed in the center to hold the twine in place.
Mount the stem image from the Harvest Hellos Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Sahara Sand Ink Pad. Stamp it on the bottom of the thin vertical strip of Sahara Sand Cardstock so the fatter end of the stem is at the top.
Hold the unlocked Apple Builder Punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the stamped stem image into the punch and get it centered in the corresponding punching area. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked.
Use the Sahara Sand Marker to color in the stem punch out.
Use a Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the stem to the back of the apple punch out so the stem is poking out from the top center of the apple.
Add additional Stampin' Dimensionals to the back of the apple punch out. Remove the protective backings and adhere the apple punch out with stem attached to the front of the card so it overlaps the center of the ribbon and twine and covers any strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Mount the small, smooth-edged leaf image from the Harvest Hellos Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Granny Apple Green Ink Pad. Stamp it on the bottom of the thin vertical strip of Granny Apple Green Cardstock.
Hold the unlocked Apple Builder Punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the stamped leaf image into the punch and get it centered in the corresponding punching area. Punch.
Use a Mini Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the leaf punch out to the front of the card so it is poking out from behind the stem on the left side.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a medium Night of Navy dot from the sheet of Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the card front in the upper left corner.
