T his beautiful Christmas card has great impact, yet comes together so easily. This is a card you could make a multiple of in a short time.
Project Recipe
Card Base: Cut Shaded Spruce 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Very Vanilla paper 4 X 5 1/4
Card Front: Cut Shaded Spruce paper 3 ¾ X 5. Cut Brushed Metallic 3 ⅝ X 4 ⅞.
Emboss Brushed Metallic with the Evergreen Forest embossing folder. Attach embossed Metallic paper to Shade Spruce Card Front. Attach these pieces to the Very Vanilla card mat.
Cut Shaded Spruce ribbon 5”. Attach ribbon to left side of card front, wrapping ribbon around to the back of the card mat. Attach card mat to the Shaded Spruce card base.
Die cut the 2nd largest stitched circle from Stitched Shapes dies from Very Vanilla paper. Stamp sentiment with Shaded Spruce ink. Attach this over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add Shaded Spruce rhinestones from Holiday rhinestones.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Very Vanilla 4 X 5 ¼. I stamp a sentiment with Shaded Spruce ink and then attached it to the inside of the card base.
I stamped a group of trees from In The Pines stamp set on the envelope with Shaded Spruce ink.
