S imple, masculine birthday card using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Early Espresso Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Cinnamon Cider Cardstock
- 3/4" x 5-1/2" of light brown zig zags on dark brown background design from Blackberry Beauty 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper, cut so the zig zags are horizontal on the vertical strip
- 1/4" x 5-1/2" from Cinnamon Cider Cardstock
- 2-3/4" x 4" of light brown antlers/sticks on dark brown background design from Blackberry Beauty 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 1-1/2" x 2" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
Insert the large Cinnamon Cider rectangle into the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the strip of zig zags Blackberry Beauty Specialty Designer Paper diagonally across the center of the dry embossed Cinnamon Cider rectangle as shown. Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut off extra designer paper on the right and left sides.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the thin strip of Cinnamon Cider Cardstock across the center of the diagonal designer paper strip as shown. Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut off extra cardstock on the right and left sides.
Adhere the dry embossed Cinnamon Cider rectangle with diagonal strips attached to the front of the Early Espresso card.
Pick out the stitched, scalloped, rectangle die that cuts out a rectangle that is 2-1/2" x 3-5/8" from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Put it on top of the antlers/sticks designer paper rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Adhere the designer paper rectangle cut out to the front of the card so it is about 5/8" from the top and right edges.
Mount the "Happy B-Day" in a rectangle image from the Happiest Of Birthdays Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Cinnamon Cider Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the vanilla rectangle.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut out the stamped sentiment rectangle by hand leaving a small amount of vanilla around the edges.
Adhere the cut out sentiment rectangle to the front of the card so it is centered in the designer paper rectangle cut out.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a large Cinnamon Cider gem from the sheet of 2020-2022 In Color Square Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the front of the card as a diamond shape.in the lower right corner of the sentiment rectangle cut out.
