K eeping the light side to Halloween with this fashionable take on the normally frightful holiday. What style of witch's hat will you sport? The inside states: Trick or Treat In Style. Love me some trick or treating, but not spooky.
Project Recipe
Cut out a variety of hats from the Toil & Trouble DSP (Designer Series Paper). I cut out one of each style of hat.
Cut other card stock needed for this card:
Gorgeous Grape - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"
Pumpkin Pie - 5 1/2" x 2 1/2"
Crushed Curry - 5 1/4" x 4" and 3 3/8" x 3/4"
Toil & Trouble DSP - Stars - 5 1/4" x 4" and 5 1/4" x 3/4"
Cut Black 3/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon:
14" & 7"
Stamp:
Using the Halloween label from Labels to Love, ink up "Halloween" only, using the brush side of the Basic Black marker. Stamp in the center of the Crushed Curry 3 3/8" x 3/4" cut out.
Using the "Trick or Treat" from Itty Bitty Greetings and "In Style" from Beautiful You, stamp in the upper central area of the Crushed Curry 5 1/4" x 4" cut out.
You are now ready to assemble. Apply as many hats as you want on the Pumpkin Pie cut out, with hats in the back applied with glue (your choice), and the foreground hats applied with Stampin' Dimensionals. Apply the large Stars cut out to the front of the Gorgeous Grape card base, then apply the Pumpkin Pie cut out, starting about 1/4" from the top of the Stars cut out. Tie the long piece of ribbon to the center of the bottom portion, tying off and securing with glue dots. Apply the sentiment cut out over the ribbon.
Assemble the inside with the Crushed Curry background, Stars narrow cut out on the bottom, and the remaining ribbon at the upper edge of the Stars. A picture of the inside is shown.
