Project Recipe
Start with a Pretty Peacock cs card base. Cut the Thick Very Vanilla cs panel and the Magic In This Night DSP panel. Add Cajun Craze ink to the Thick Very Vanilla cs panel with a sponge dauber. Glue the panels to the card base.
Stamp the label and sentiment from the Hallows Night Magic stamp set in Memento Black ink on Thick Very Vanilla cs. Color the flowers and leaves with the Stampin’ Blends and add Wink of Stella for sparkle. Die cut out the sentiment label with the Halloween Magic dies.
Die cut a Basic Black cs large label with the Halloween dies and dry emboss it with the Cobwebs 3D embossing folder. Die cut a Pretty Peacock cs layer with the Ornate Layers dies. I was thrilled to be using my new Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and my Take Your Pick Tool brush to die cut the Ornate Layers layer with ease. Glue the Pretty Peacock cs layer centered to the card front. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the Thick Very Vanilla cs label to the embossed Basic Black cs label and then glue them to the Pretty Peacock layer.
Stamp the flower background from the Painted Poppies in 2nd generation Cajun Craze ink to Thick Very Vanilla cs. Die cut Cajun Craze cs flower outlines from the Halloween Magic dies.
Glue the outlines to the stamped image and then fussy cut them out with Paper Snips. Add Wink of Stella to the flower petals for sparkle. Use a sponge dauber to add Cajun Craze ink to the fussy cut flowers edges. Use glue dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the flowers to the top right corner of the sentiment label. Die cut a Basic Black cs spider from the Little Treat Box dies and add it with glue to overlap the flowers. Add Iridescent Pearls to the card front on the Pretty Peacock cs layer corners
Don’t forget to add a Thick Very Vanilla cs inside panel to write your message. Use a sponge dauber to add Cajun Craze ink to the panel’s edges. I stamped the sentiment from the Halloween Night Magic stamp set and the spider from the Little Treats stamp set in Memento Black ink on the inside and back of the card. I also added strips of DSP to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
