Project Recipe
This Bundle is the Cauldron Bubble stamp set and the Cauldron Framelits Dies. The papers are the Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper, and they work together with this bundle to make the most adorable Halloween projects. The papers from the Toil & Trouble Cardstock Pack, which have coordinating colors is the perfect addition. I also used the Cat Punch and the Spooky Bats punch, and don't forget the Basic Black ink!
First let's start with the tags. There are so many paper choices with this set of DSP that I almost didn't know where to start! They all have Basic Black bases 2" x 51/2". Cut out 8 of these and use the Scalloped Tag Topper punch at the top. The DSP papers are cut 1 3/4" X 5". Again use the same punch on the top. All the tags are finished with the Glittered Organdy Ribbon at the top and tied with a matching Ribbon or Bakers Twine. And we are ready to go.
The first tag is the Black Cat. Use the Cat punch to cut out a black cat, then there is a framelit for the cat that fits the DSP, cut that kitty out. The purple at the bottom is 3/4" x 2" and the sentiment is stamped on a 3/4" x 2" and trimmed down. I put a piece of the Glittered Organdy Ribbon and some Gold Metallic Thread behind the "Happy Halloween" sentiment, which I stamped in Basic Black and attached with Dimensionals, as were the cats, so they stand out a bit.
This tag has the brooms DSP, a 3/4" x 2" piece of the Green polkadots, which has the sentiment stamped in Basic Black, and 2 Witches hats cut out with the hat die. The Broom is stamped on Whisper White paper, colored in, and cut out with the Broom die. They are all attached with Mini Dimensionals.
The Jack o lanterns were fussy cut out of the Pumpkin DSP and I drew the faces on with a black Stampin Write marker. The back ground is the Green polka dot and some orange polkadots at the bottom. The bat is from the Spooky bats punch. And the sentiment is stamped in Black on a circle punched out of a pumpkin. Again use the dimensionals for depth.
This tag has a little twist to it. It's a gift in its self!
I cut out two 2" strips as wide as the rows of spiders, and another strip of the multi colored stripes. Then I cut out the spider web with the framelit in Silver Glimmer paper. Then I punched 2 holes in the web. Here's the fun part. I made earrings out of the Spider Trinkets, and have them hanging from the web! Bam...Instant gift!
Make sure to tape the earrings on the back of the card though so they don't fall off.
Next come the Bags, which are really just more tags made the same way added to some medium sized bags that I put matching DSP on the front of! The DSP is cut to 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" and attached with Snail Tape. I also added some matching tissue paper inside the bags. Attach the tags to the front of the bag with Stampin Dimensionals.
Aren't the witches adorable from the DSP! The one I used here you are able to cut out using a framelit, but the others you would need to fussy cut out. FYI It also matches the stamped witch from the set. The cauldron was also cut out with a framlit, which also matches the stamp. Use the stars for the Background on the tag and the bag, stamp the sentiment on a 1" x 2" bit of the multicolored stripes and use a toothpick for the wand. The witch and sentiment are adhered to the background with snail tape and the cauldron with dimensionals.
Oh my the frogs!!! Could they be any cuter? They are the background for this tag. Use a dauber and some black ink at the bottom around the cauldron and put it on with dimensionals. The sentiment strip and the bag front are the green polka dots. I used the Frog stamp on Whisper White card stock, in black ink, and colored him in with Olive Green Stampin blends then cut him out with the frog framelit. I also fussy cut a little froggy and use a dimensional to stick him in the middle of the frogs. they look like they are falling into the cauldron!
Bats, Bats and more BATS! I love this paper and the Spooky Bats Punch! The Punch coordinates with the DSP perfectly! So I punched out the 3 bats, and put them over the matching bats on the paper with dimensionals. Then I used the Wink of Stella on them so they glitter. The sentiment I actually embossed with White Stampin Emboss powder so it would show up well on the black.
Finally the Ghosties. They are so much fun in their purple and green tints! I stamped 3 of the ghosts on Whisper white, cut them out with the matching framelit, and added a hint of green and purple with Stampin blends. Place them on the ghost paper with dimensionals. The Sentiment is in black on a scrap of Highland Heather. The Purple stripes DSP I used for the bottom and the bag front.
