A n elegant thank you card using Good Morning Magnolia, Daffodil Delight Blends and an embossed sentiment.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock according to sizes on the photo.
Let’s stamp! Using Tuxedo Black Ink:
1) stamp the large magnolia onto a piece of whisper white cardstock. You may want to use your stamp positioning tool to make sure you get good coverage,
2). stamp a partial image onto one of your whisper white mat layers for the front, place it onto the lower right corner,
3) stamp two smaller flowers in opposite corners of the other whisper white mat layer,
4) stamp the small flower onto the envelope flap and lower left corner because pretty envelopes make for truly happy mail.
Stamp your sentiment using VersaMark ink, I used Thanks from the stamp set, positioning it toward the right, allowing a small amount of room to wrap the around the white matted layer. Heat emboss and set aside for later.
Color all flowers, leaves and stems. I used Daffodil Delight, Mossy Meadow and Soft Suede but you can use any of your favorite colors. Blends inks bleed so be sure to put a piece of scrap paper insid the envelope when you color the lower corner flower.
Cut the large magnolia using the die if you have it or you can fussy cut it.
Let’s assemble the card!
1) Glue the white mat layers onto the black cardstock layers. Adhere the inside layer.
2) Place your sentiment on the bottom of your card, fold the ends around to the back like you would a ribbon, adhere to the back. You will be covering up part of your colored flower.
3) Use dimensionals to adhere the large flower to the front of your card.
Finishing steps - I highlighted the large magnolia with Wink of Stella and added rhinestone gems.
