C lean and simple thank you card using masking and Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and masking paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Garden Green Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 5" from Stampin' Up! Masking Paper
Working on Grid Paper on top of a Stampin' Pierce Mat, lightly adhere the Masking Paper strip across the vertical white rectangle so it is about 1-1/4" from the top edge. Let the edges of the Masking Paper strip attach to the Grid Paper to help keep the cardstock in place.
Mount the more solid, group of more rounded leaves without stems image on Block D. Ink it up with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp off on Grid Paper. Without re-inking stamp it in the top left corner of the white rectangle so it goes off the left edge a bit and the bottom of the image overlaps the top of the masking paper. Repeat so the image is in the upper right corner remembering to stamp off first. Repeat one more time so the image is in the center and overlaps the bottom of the masking paper, remembering to stamp off first.
Mount the matching, more detailed, group of more rounded leaves with stems image on Block D. Ink it up with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of each of the previously stamped leaf images lining up the edges as best as you can. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. You may need to use a bit of scrap paper along the edges of the masking paper to make sure you don't get any stem bits hanging over the edges.
Mount the more solid, group of pointier leaves without stems image on Block D. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp off on Grid Paper. Without re-inking stamp it in the center of the white rectangle so the bottom of the image overlaps the top of the masking paper. Repeat so the image is in the lower left and right corners and overlaps the bottom of the masking paper, remembering to stamp off first.

Very carefully peel up the masking paper strip.
Mount the "words fail to express my gratitude" sentiment from the Simply Zinnia Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white area between the stamped leaf images.
Adhere the stamped white layer to the front of the Garden Green card.
Cut a 16" piece of the Gold Twisted Thread.
Fold the thread in half. Tie a small bow in the center of the folded thread. Trim the ends.
Use a squished down Mini Glue Dot to adhere the thread bow to the front of the card as shown so it is on the left side and centered over the top of the leaf line just below the sentiment.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 3 small Pecan Pie dots from a sheet of Pecan Pie & Clear Ribboned Adhesive-Backed Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them around the leaf lines as shown.
