T his sparkly gold card has all the glam you could want for the holidays. The layout for this card was inspired by the Mojo Monday sketch challenge #370.
Project Recipe
Emboss the shimmery white cardstock with the perfect polka dots embossing folder.
Adhere gold foil paper to the back of the top of the embossed panel. A thin line of the gold foil should be visible across the top.
Adhere the polka dot with gold foil panel to the Whisper White card base.
Stamp the greeting from Bright & Beautiful in the lower left corner of the Whisper White panel with Versamark ink. Heat emboss with gold embossing powder.
Die cut the scallop edge in the gold foil paper using the Adorning Accents Edgelit die.
Adhere the die-cut scallop gold foil piece to the back side of the bottom of the stamped panel. The full scallops should be visible.
Adhere the greeting to the center of the card front.
Adhere the diagonal stripe vellum to a piece of Whisper White cardstock. TIP: If you put glue behind the gold stripes, you will not see the adhesive through the vellum.
Die cut a small banner shape using the Party Pennants die.
Adhere the die cut vellum banner so that the top is flush with the shimmery white polka dot panel and the left edge does not cover any of the stamped greeting.
Die cut the gold glimmer paper using the smallest and next-to-smallest star Framelits. The smallest die should be nested inside the other one when cutting.
Punch two of the small stars from the left over gold glimmer paper.
Adhere the larger star outline over the vellum banner. Adhere the inner star over the greeting.
Adhere the two small gold glimmer stars using small pieces of Dimensionals.
