The base of this gift card holder is a SU! Medium envelope. You can probably substitute another envelope type as long as it is the same size.
The first step is to fold the envelope in half vertically.
Lay the envelope so that the back side of it is facing you. Cut away the top right section. This leaves just the top flap on the top left-hand side.
I used a retired 3/4" circle punch to cut a half-circle on the right top inside section of the envelope.
While this step isn't necessary, I think it helps with the removal of the inside card.
The last step is to seal the flap on the left-hand side.
Now you are ready to decorate!
Using the white glitter paper, die-cut one of the trees.
NOTE: if you use one of the more intricate dies, I suggest you apply a double-sided adhesive sheet to the back of the glitter paper before cutting. This will ensure that it adheres well without messing with liquid glue.
Adhere the tree over the Misty Moonlight tag.
Take one of the Misty Moonlight layers and emboss it with the Snowflake folder. Adhere this to the left inside section of the envelope.
Using the Basic White card stock, die-cut another one of the small trees. See the note about using the double-sided adhesive sheets for intricate die cuts.
Adhere the tree over the Misty Moonlight panel.
Stamp your sentiment and the star clusters on the right side of the inside of the envelope.
Take the 4 1/8" x 2 5/8" piece of Basic White and stamp the star clusters twice using Misty Moonlight ink.
Apply a small piece of tear and tape to the center of the Basic White panel. This will allow you to adhere your gift card to the center of the card insert.
Close the envelope and tie the ribbon into a bow.
You are finished!
