aking my own water background paper using our re-inkers. Perfect for the Awesome Otters stamp set.

Project Recipe
Dimensions:
Night of Navy 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at half
Crumb Cake 4 1/4 x 3
Watercolor 3 3/4 x 2 1/2
Basic White 3 7/8 x 2 5/8, and 4 x 5 1/4 (Inside)
Make the water background first. Using the largest stamping block and re-inkers, add drops of the of the re-inkers on the block. Spread the colors around so the colors mix together. Spritz generously with water.
Lay the watercolor paper over the spritzed colors. Make sure the entire piece gets colored. Remove. With the tissue, wipe the excess water/drops off. Set aside to let dry.
On Basic White, stamp the otter in Memento ink. Color with the blends.
Outside of the otter - Soft Suede
Inside tummy area - Crumb Cake
Water - Balmy Blue
Cut around with your paper snips, keeping as much, or little, of the water you wish.
Stamp the party hat on Basic White. Color with the Light Crumb Cake blends and Light Balmy Blue Blends. Cut out with your paper snips. Set aside.
Stamp some party hats on the inside of the card as well. Color with the same blends. Adhere to the inside of the card.
Once the watercolor paper is dry, adhere the front layers together.
On the watercolor background, stamp the "Happy Birthday" from the Biggest Wish stamp set. Stamp in the upper right corner, on a diagonal, using Memento.
Add the otter in the bottom right corner of the watercolor background. Using a dimensional, add the party hat. Color the top pompom with the Shimmery Crystal Effects.
Tie a bow from the Simply Elegant Trim. Adhere by the otter with a glue dot.
