B ack fold card inspired by Patty Bennett using the Earthen Textures Suite.
Project Recipe
Cutting Directions:
Cardbase: 5 1/2 x 7 1/2 in (14.9 x 20.5 cm) Score at 3 1/4 in and 6 1/2 in (9 cm and 18 cm)
Layer 1 DSP front and inside: 3 x 5 1/4 in (8.5 x 14.4 cm)
Layer 2: DSP for front 2 3/4 x 5 in (8 x 13.9 cm)
Strip of DSP for the inside layer and the back fold. Cut 2: 2 1/2 x 5 1/4 in (2 x 14.4 cm)
Scraps of DSP and Very Vanilla to fit stylish shapes, dies for vases and leaves and sentiment.
The third section after scoring folds backward. Your folds will be valley the mountain.
Stamp: Branch and sentient onto Very Vanilla scraps.
Stamp sentient onto the inside layer.
Stamp branch on envelope to decorate.
Die Cut:
A variety of vases out of DSP.
Two circles for the front out of cardstock or DSP.
Top for a vase.
Two palm fronds out of DSP, using a coordinating color.
Your sentiment and a piece of cardstock to or DSP to highlight sentiment. (I cut it in half and adhered top and bottom.)
Assemble card: adhere DSP to Shimmery 2023-2025 In Color Luster Specialty Paper; put on the front of the cardstock.
Adhere DSP strips to back fold and inside layer.
Adhere inside layer to the inside of card.
Build your focal piece:
attach 2 circles together; arrange vases on the front of this and also the die cut leaves. Adhere the leaves to one of the vases; add the die cut top to a vase; adhere two flat to the circles and the third use dimensionals to middle vase.
This entire piece is adhered to the back fold section.
Adhere sentiment on the front.
Wink of Stella on parts of vases; add gems.
