Project Recipe
Instructions:
Start with a Medium “Crumb Cake” Envelope – 5 ¾ x 4 3/8
Cut a piece of “Crumb Cake” card stock to 5 ½ x 8 ½, and score a line in the middle at 4 ¼ then fold to form a vertical- side fold card.
Cut two rectangles from the “Real Red” Card stock, one measuring 2 ½ x 5, and one measuring 4 x 3.
Cut a piece of “Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper” to 2 x 4 ¾. Center and affix to the 2 ½ x 5 piece of “Real Red” card stock you cut out earlier. Then paste that to the left side of the card as shown.
Cut one rectangle from “Whisper White” Card stock to 3 ¾ x 2 ¾, then emboss using the “Holly Textured impressions” embossing folder to emboss it. Center and affix with double sided tape to the 4x3 “Real Red” Card stock piece.
Using “Crumb Cake” &/ or “Black” ink pad, and the “Cookie Cutter Christmas” stamp set, Choose the character of your choice and stamp it on a piece of “Whisper White” card stock. Next, use the Cookie Cutter Punch to cut out the stamped image. Add any coloring if desired.
Now affix character to the card with “Dimensionals” adhesive foam dots. Now, tie the red and white “Candy Cane lane” Bakers twine, under the character, three times around this part of the card horizontally, and tie a bow. Now affix it with double sided tape on top of the DSP rectangle as shown.
If you like, you can stamp the same character on the front bottom corner of your envelope for a little extra fun!
