T he card on the left is my simply stamped example using Free as a Bird stamp set. On the right, is my stepped up version.
Project Recipe
Simple: Start with an 8 1/2 X 5 1/2 piece of Whisper White card stock, and fold in half, crease edge using the bone folder.
Stepped up: Start with Calypso Coral card stock cut into 8 1/2 X 5 1/2, fold in half and crease edge using the bone folder.
Simple: Using your Early Espresso ink pad, ink the birds on the branch and stamp about 3/4th.s of the way down your card aligning on the left side.
Stepped Up: Using the Stitched Nested Labels die, cut out the shape on whisper white card stock large enough for your birds on the branch stamp to fit. Then using Early Espresso ink pad, stamp the bird branch image centered on the die piece you just cut. Set aside.
Simple: Old Olive ink pad, stamp leaves and buds across the top, leaving room for flower blossoms. Then using your Calypso Coral ink pad, stamp a few scattered blooms along the leaves.
Stepped up: Cut a Whisper White card stock piece to 5 X 4 inches. Using your Old Olive ink pad stamp leaves and buds across the top, and then come down to the lower left side. Leave room for flower blossoms and your sentiment to the right. Now using the Calypso Coral ink pad, stamp a few blossoms along the leaves.
Simple: Stamp sentiment using Calypso Coral ink pad.
Stepped up: Stamp sentiment using Calypso Coral ink pad. Using a sponge dauber, lightly color the edges of your die cut piece with the Calypso Coral ink.
Simple: Color in your leaves, flower buds, branch and birds using assorted stampin' blend markers listed in supplies.
Stepped Up: Color in your leaves, flower buds, branch and birds using assorted stampin' blend markers listed in supplies. Adhere Whisper White panel onto your Calypso Coral card base. Then using Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of your die cut piece, adhere this to the Whisper White panel.
