Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Petal Pink Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Poppy Parade Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of red, pink, and white tulips design from Flowering Fields 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the tulips are vertical on the horizontal rectangle
- 2-5/8" x 3" of pink dots on red background design from Flowering Fields 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 3-1/2" x 4-1/2" from Petal Pink Cardstock
Adhere the piece of red, pink, and white tulips Flowering Fields Designer Paper to the center of the Poppy Parade rectangle and then to the front of the Petal Pink card.
Pick out the large, open heart die from the dies included with the Bouquet Of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder. Put it on top of the pink dotted red designer paper rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Put the cut out designer paper heart inside the embossing folder included with the Bouquet Of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder so it is centered inside the heart in the center of the folder with the red side of the designer paper face up (you can see the red side of the designer paper and the Stampin' Up! logo on the bottom of the folder). Close the folder and run it through your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.
As you are ready to stamp using the Flowering Tulips Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "Happy Mother's Day" sentiment from the Flowering Tulips Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Poppy Parade Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the horizontal Petal Pink rectangle near the top edge.
Mount the complete, closed tulip image from the Flowering Tulips Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Poppy Parade Ink Pad. Stamp it on one side of the horizontal Petal Pink rectangle below the stamped sentiment.
Mount one of the complete, open tulip images from the Flowering Tulips Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Poppy Parade Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the horizontal Petal Pink rectangle below the stamped sentiment.
Mount the other complete, open tulip image from the Flowering Tulips Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Poppy Parade Ink Pad. Stamp it on the other end of the horizontal Petal Pink rectangle below the stamped sentiment.
Mount the small tulip center image from the Flowering Tulips Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Poppy Parade Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of one of the open tulip images. Re-ink the stamp and stamp it in the center of the other open tulip image.
Pick out the matching, open tulip dies from the Tulips Dies. Put them on top of the stamped closed tulip image and one of the open tulip images on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the images are centered in the dies. Make sure the dies do NOT overlap. Run through the machine. Keep all the pieces and keep the open tulip die that matches the open tulip image out.
Pick out the large, open label die from the dies included with the Bouquet Of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment so the sentiment is centered top to bottom and slightly closer to the right edge. Put the open tulip die that matches the open tulip image on top of the remaining open tulip image so it is centered over the image. Make sure the dies do NOT overlap and everything is on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
WITHOUT ADHERING, place the dry embossed heart cut out, the tulip cut outs, and the sentiment cut out on the front of the card as shown to figure out placement and spacing. Once happy with the layout, adhere the pieces in place one a time. Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the open tulip image in the center.
Cut a 9" piece of the White 1/4" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon.
Tie a small bow in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon bow to the front of the card as shown.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up one medium jewel from a sheet of Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the upper right side of the dry embossed heart cut out.
