T he papers in the Flower & Field paper pack coordinate so well together, it is easy to put together a card with two prints.
Project Recipe
Card Base: Cut Rococo Rose 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Front:
Cut striped paper in the Flower & Field paper pack 4 X 5 ¼. Attach to card base.
Cut Very Vanilla 2 ⅝ X 4. Cut small flower print in the Flower & Field paper pack 2 ½ X 3 ⅞ . Attach flower print to Very Vanilla.
Cut ribbon 12”, wrap around the flower print/vanilla piece and knot to the left side. I attached the knot with a glue dot. Attach this piece to the lower edge of the striped card front.
Stamp Happy Birthday with Rococo Rose ink on Very Vanilla paper. Punch with oval in the Double Oval punch. Punch a Rococo Rose scalloped punch using the Double Oval punch.
Attach the Rococo Rose punched piece under the ribbon to the right side of the flower print/vanilla piece on the card front. Attach the stamped oval over the ribbon and Rococo Rose oval with dimensionals.
Attach three Matte Black Dots.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Very Vanilla 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
