ave you see the Flowering Foils paper that is a free choice in the second release of Sale-A-Bration items. This paper is so versatile. You can color it to match your card base.
This card would work as a Birthday card or a note card.
Project Recipe
Card Base: Cut Flirty Flamingo 8 ½ X 11 paper in half width wise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Front: Cut whisper white paper 4 X 5 1/4
Emboss whisper white card front with subtle embossing folder.
Cut a strip of grid foil paper 2" X 5 1/4".
This foil paper takes color without losing the print. I colored the foil by pulling Flirty Flamingo ink pad across it. Do this on scrap paper, as you can see it is a little messy.
Cut 15" of ribbon, wrap around foil paper and knot at right side.
Attach to lower edge of embossed white card front.
Cut a flower from the large flower foil paper. Color with Flirty Flamingo blends.
Attach flower to card front (see picture for placement)
Attach a clear faceted gem in the center of the flower.
