H ere is a quick card that packs alot of punch with some nice texture and some bling with the pretty copper foil sheets and gold ribbon.
Project Recipe
Card Basics:
Cardbase (Soft Suede) 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" folded in half with fold to the top for a horizontal opening card.
Accent layer (Very Vanilla) 5 1/4" x 4"
Textured layer (Cajun Craze) 4 1/4" x 3"
Copper Foil piece large enough to fill in the space of the cut leaf. Mine is 2" x 2 1/4"
Greeting (Very Vanilla)
Inside (Very Vanilla) 5 1/4" x 4"
Cut out the leaf shape either before or after you run through the Cajun Craze layer through the Big Shot with the Petal Burst embossing folder.
I adhered the cut out leaf inside the card for an accent.
Stamp the outline banner in Soft Suede ink and stamp the greeting (thank you) in Cajun Craze ink.
Punch the greeting using the Duet Banner punch from the Thoughtful Banners bundle.
Assemble the card:
Center the Very Vanilla layer on the cardbase and adhere it. Snail adhesive works well for this.
Put some Snail adhesive at a back side of the Cajun Craze layer around the cut out leaf. Lay the Copper Foil with the foil side down onto the back of the Cajun Craze layer covering the hole created by cut out leaf.
Add a Stampin' Dimensional at each corner of the back of the textured Cajun Craze layer. Center this layer on the Very Vanilla and adhere.
Wrap the ribbon through the hole made by the leaf and bring to the front to tie a pretty knot. Trim ends of ribbon to even it out.
Inside card: Adhere a Very Vanilla piece to allow a place to write a note. You can adhere the cut out leaf onto this layer as well.
Finish the project by using dimensionals to attach the punched greeting to the front.
