Q uick and easy card with some fun touches using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Old Olive Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of green stripes with occasional small green bumps on light green background design from Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper, cut so the stripes are vertical on the vertical rectangle
- 2-3/8" x 3-7/8" from Early Espresso Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 3-3/4" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
Adhere the piece of Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper to the front of the Old Olive card.
Mount the large set of stems with three seed pods image from the Enjoy The Moment Set on Block I. Ink it up with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp it on the left side of the vertical Very Vanilla rectangle so the stems go off the bottom edge and the top and left edges are about 3/8" from the top and left sides of the rectangle.
Tip: Be sure to use a piece of Grid Paper under your cardstock to protect your work surface from ink.
Squeeze the lid of the Old Olive Ink Pad to get ink in the lid. Use a Blender Pen to pick up ink from the pad lid and color in the stems and seed pods on the stamped image. Remember to stroke in one direction only or the cardstock will tear and pill up. Scribble on Grid Paper when you are done until no more color is coming off the Blender Pen.
Mount the "Enjoy The Moment" sentiment from the Enjoy The Moment Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Old Olive Ink Pad and stamp it just to the right of the stems about 3/4" from the bottom edge.
Adhere the stamped and colored vanilla rectangle to the Early Espresso rectangle.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Old Olive ribbon from the Ornate Garden Ribbon Combo Pack.
Pick out a ribbon slide from the Antiqued Corners & Slides.
Feed the ribbon through the ribbon slide so the side of the slide that you want facing up is up. Position the slide near the left side of the ribbon.
Lay the ribbon with slide attached across the bottom of the matted vanilla cardstock so the ribbon is just below the stamped sentiment. Flip the layers over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the Early Espresso rectangle. Adhere it to the front of the card so it is centered side to side and slightly closer to the top.
Adjust the position of the ribbon slide if needed so it is centered over the stems.
Pick out a corner from the Antiqued Corners & Slides. Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the corner in place to the upper right corner of the matted vanilla rectangle.
Pick out a bug from the Ladybug Trinkets. Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ladybug in place in the top junction between the two lower seed pods.
