I love shaker cards, but realize some don’t enjoy putting them together. Well this shaker card is so easy, everyone will be making shaker cards.
Project Recipe
You can see me make this card on a Facebook Live on my Scrappin with Joni Facebook page. Look under videos for Facebook Live dated 11/30/2020
Card Base: Cut Seaside Spray 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Front: Cut paper 4 X 5 ¼. Insert card front into clear envelope. Stamp image on card front. I used black ink.
Move the card front so it is against the bottom and 1 side of the clear envelope. Fold over the side of the envelope not against the card front, so the clear envelope is tight around the card front but not the card front remains flat. I used a bone folder to get a flat fold on the clear envelope. Tape down this fold with tear & tape.
Add snowflake sequins to the clear envelope in front of the card front. Fold the top of the clear envelope to the back of the card front and tape that edge with tear & tape. Add tear & tape on the back of the card front to the bottom and side that doesn’t have the tear & tape. Remove backing from all four pieces of tear & tape and attach to the Seaside Spray card front.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. Wasn’t that easy? For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
I stamped the same snowman I used on the card front on my envelope.
