M ake an easy paper mug to give some fun treats to your friends. This mug also fits a gift card.
Project Recipe
Cut Traditions of St. Nick Designer Series Paper to 4-1/4" x 9". With the inside pattern facing up, score the paper on the long side at 1", 2", 3", 4", 5", 6", 7"and 8".
Then turn and score the short side at 1-1/4".
Cut the tabs along the bottom score line.
Cut away the bottom square on the last tab. Then cut 2 notches. Go over all the scored lines with a bone folder.
Attach tear & tape adhesive on this tab. Remove the adhesive and close up the mug.
Fold the bottom tabs and start gluing them together by carefully adding adhesive.
Punch two circles from Mossy Meadow card stock using the 2-3/8" circle punch. Attach one to the inside of the mug and one to the bottom of the mug.
Punch a circle from Mossy Meadow card stock using the 1-3/4" circle punch. Then go over this punched card stock with the 2-3/8" circle punch creating a ring. Cut this ring in half to make a handle.
Put the two pieces together and score the ends about 1/4".
Glue the handle pieces together and spread back the scored section. Add adhesive and attach to the mug.
Die cut a label using the Christmas Classic Dies from real red card stock. Stamp the sentiment with Versamark ink and emboss with White Embossing powder using a Heat Tool. Attach to the mug using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Place treats in a 6" x 8" cello Bag. Close using Real Red & Gold Ribbon. Place your treats in the mug.
