T his is a simple gift card holder you can make using the Tags & Trimmings stamp set and the Be Merry DSP.
Project Recipe
Start with whisper white paper. Cut a piece that is 8 1/2” x 3 1/2” and then score at 2” and 6”
Again from the Whisper White paper, cut out an oval or circle with the stitched framelets using the second to largest die. Stamp the sentiment of your choice in garden green or cherry cobbler Ink.
Stamp the sentiment of your choice in garden green or cherry cobbler Ink.
Now, with the DSP of your choice, cut three pieces sized as the following
3 1/4“ x 1 3/4” (bottom front card pocket)
3 1/4“ x 2 1/4“ t(op front)
3 1/4“ x 3 3/4 (back)
Use adhesive to center and place the three DSP pieces on the same side of the Whisper white.
Fold the smallest flap up and punch a half circle out of the center at the top. This is so you can easily remove the gift card from the holder. Then use 1/8” tear tape on the left and right sides and secure leaving the top open for the card Pocket.
Fold the top flap down, and with dimensionals, attach the circle or oval with the sentiment to the top flap with half loose over the bottom part of the card.
If you want to step the card up a bit, you can use clear embossing powder on your sentiment and back the circle or oval with a slightly larger one cut out of silver glimmer paper.
