I
fell in love with this beautiful Easter set and am pleased to say that I've already made my Easter cards this year after having failed miserably with Christmas cards!
This is beautiful but simple...mg favorite combination!
Project Recipe
Use Memento Black ink to stamp the flower sprig on bottom the left corner of white card base (4" x5.25" .)
Color in blooms with your preferred color choices...I used Daffodil Delight (a bright yellow watercolor pencil) for the flower and Call Me Clover marker for leaves and stem( or use blender pen and lift color from inside of inkpad lid
. Blend out the flower colors with a blender pen or use a clear Wink of Stella pen to blend if you prefer a little shimmer. SO pretty when it has that shimmery look!
Stamp the Happy Easter sentiment in top right corner of 3.75" x5" white layer card using Blueberry Bushel ink.
Run the stamped and co!ored card base card through the Argyle embossing folder then attach it to a 4" x5.25" piece of silver metallic foil. Then attach the foil piece to the front of the folded A2 size (4.25x5) folded Blueberry card front.
Here's my favorite trick to stretch out the metallic foil for maximum use. I cut out the inside of the rectangle to use on another project or some pretty punched foil accents. .why waste the whole piece when only the edges will show, right? You can use the smaller silver cut out piece on a future project or punch some shapes for another project.
inside of card...stamp a 4" x5.25" piece of white cardstock with the " May the Promise of His wonderful gift sentiment using Blueberry Bushell ink.
Attach the white piece to the inside card base and your beautiful Easter card is ready to go!
Don't forget to emboss the envelope flap to match the card base!
This card is pretty simple but the blue and yellow combo really makes it "pop"!
