T
his fun card is so quick and easy: no difficult or unusual measurements.
I will be referring to 3 pieces on this card: the card, the inside and the 'fence' so that you know what I'm talking about.
Project Recipe
Cut cherry cobbler cardstock at 4 1/4" X 11". Score at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2". Fold back at the first score then forward at next score. Cut Crumb Cake at 1 1/2 X 11 and score the same as above. Fold in at first score and back at 2nd score. This will be identical to the card base, you will just turn it opposite.
When it's closed, it will look like this
Cut a piece of whisper white at 3 3/4" X 5". Stamp the moose, and his scarf in Archival Black...keep this image as far to the left as possible so it doesn't show when card is closed.
Stamp gingerbread man in Soft Suede ink on white scrap of paper, also stamp 2 jolly hats and the fuzzy hat brims in cherry cobbler, punch out and save the 'hat balls' as well.
Sponge the edge of all pieces with soft suede ink on our yellow sponges.
Cut stitched ovals with our Stitched Shapes Framelits...smaller one uses Warmth and Cheer Designer Stack, larger one is Crumb Cake.
Stamp the 'brick' design from Ghoulish grunge across the whole 'fence' piece in Soft Suede ink and sponge the edges as well.
Watercolor the moose and the scarf with your cherry cobbler and crumb cake pads.
Stamp 'warm wishes and mistletoe kisses' in cherry cobbler to the right of the moose. Adhere moose piece to largest side of card (inside).
Once this is in place, you can glue your 'fence piece' to the card. This is done easiest by folding card closed, fold fence closed and see that you have it in the correct position then flip it over and glue the complete back (in folded position still). When you flip it over it should glue the long side of the fence to the front short side of the card and the short side of the fence to the long inside.
Layer your ovals and your gingerbread guy on the front, glue on your santa hats and add the little balls to the end and WaLA! You are done
