P retty Christmas card using Stampin' Up! products. Tip: This one is easy to make using leftover snowflakes from the Making Every Day Bright Penguin Celebration card.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Pool Party Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Shaded Spruce Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Pool Party Cardstock
- 2-3/4" square from Shaded Spruce Cardstock
- 2-5/8" square from Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets
- snowflakes cut from Whisper White Cardstock using the Blizzard Thinlits
Mount the "Let's Celebrate" sentiment from the Detailed With Love Stamp Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Shaded Spruce Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Pool Party rectangle about 3/4" up from the bottom.
As you are ready to stamp using the Making Christmas Bright Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the triple strings of stars image from the Making Christmas Bright Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Pool Party Ink Pad. Stamp it on the Pool Party rectangle just to the left of the stamped sentiment.
Tip: The entire stamp won't fit on Block G, so make sure the open ends on the top of the strings are the ones that hang off the end of the stamp.
Adhere the stamped Pool Party rectangle to the large Shaded Spruce rectangle and then to the front of the Pool Party card.
Carefully peel up the protective backing on one side of the piece of Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet and adhere the adhesive sheet to the one side of the Shaded Spruce square. Leave the other protective backing piece in place.
Place the piece of Shaded Spruce Cardstock on the Precision Base Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot so that the adhesive side (with protective backing in place) is on the bottom (Shaded Spruce facing up).
Pick out the medium, circles with leaves thinlit from the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits. Place it on top of the Shaded Spruce Cardstock on the Big Shot. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces.
Peel the protective backing off of the swirly circles cut out and adhere it to the top of the card front in the center so it is about 5/8" from the top.
If you don't have snowflakes cut out from a previous project, then cut some out now.
Place a piece of Whisper White Cardstock on the Precision Base Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the Blizzard Thinlit on top. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces.
Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere three small (not tiny) sized snowflakes to the left side of the swirly wreath so they overlap each other and cover the upper end of the strings of stars stamped image.
Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere three tiny sized snowflakes randomly around the card front.
Use the brush tip of the Pool Party Dark Stampin' Blends Marker to color 4 tiny and 2 small pearls while they are on the sheet of Pearl Basic Jewels.
Carefully peel up the colored pearls making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the centers of the snowflakes.
