P retty card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer and Paper Snips:
- card from Rose Red Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Night of Navy Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Rose Red Cardstock
- 5-1/8" strip of large lace strip from Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper
- 2-1/4" x 3-1/4" from Night of Navy Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 3-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
Put a piece of Grid Paper on top of the Stampin' Pierce Mat to protect it from ink as you stamp off the edges of cardstock. Place the Rose Red rectangle on the Grid Paper on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the smaller, smooth edged paisley image from the Paisleys & Posies Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Night of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp it repeatedly down the right 2/3 of the Rose Red rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Vary the angle of the stamp and let some of the images go off the edges.
Adhere the strip of Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper to the left side of the stamped Rose Red rectangle. Make sure the white side of the designer paper is showing.
Adhere the stamped Rose Red rectangle with the designer paper attached to the large Night of Navy rectangle and then to the front of the Rose Red card.
Mount the "so many of my smiles..." oval image from the Detailed With Love Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Rose Red Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white rectangle.
Pick out the oval framelit from the Layering Ovals Framelits that cuts out a 2-1/2" long oval. Place the stamped sentiment oval image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the oval framelit on top so it is centered over the oval image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Pick out the scalloped oval framelit from the Layering Ovals Framelits that cuts out a 2-11/16" long scalloped oval. Place the small Night of Navy rectangle on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the scalloped oval framelit on top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the sentiment oval cut out to the center of the scalloped Night of Navy oval.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the matted sentiment ovals to the front of the card so it just overlaps the designer paper strip on the right and is about 3/4" from the top of the card.
Cut a 14" piece of Night of Navy 5/8" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon.
Tie a bow in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the bow to the lower right side of the sentiment ovals at a slight angle.
Carefully peel up 6 large rhinestones from a sheet of Rhinestone Basic Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the centers of the flowers in the center of the designer paper strip.
