N othing says “fall” like a card with pumpkins. This card use 3 different kinds of pumpkins to add some interesting texture to the card.
Project Recipe
Card Base: Cut Merry Merlot 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp sentiment to upper right corner with Early Espresso ink.
Cut the tallest detailed pumpkin from Copper Foil. I attached an adhesive sheet to the back of copper foil before I cut the pumpkin.
Cut the smallest pumpkin from wood grain paper. I attached an adhesive sheet to the back of the wood grain paper before I cut the pumpkin.
Stamp the leaf print pumpkin to the gold foil stripe paper. After stamping, carefully wipe ink from gold foil stripes, leaving the leaf stamp on the white paper. Then cut this pumpkin with the open pumpkin die.
Attach the copper pumpkin to the left edge of the stamped card mat. Attach the wood grain pumpkin ¾” from the right side of the card mat. Attach the gold foil pumpkin over the edge of both pumpkins with dimensionals.
Add 3 gold brushed metallic embellishments.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
If you want to cover your envelope flap to match your card, you can find directions here: http://www.scrappinwithjoni.com/blogs/covering-your-envelope-flap
I used paper from the 6X6 Designer Series paper packs for the envelope flap.
