Project Recipe
For the calendar base cut Night of Navy card stock 5.5 x 8.5 and score at 4.25, fold
Cut a second piece of Night of Navy 3 x 5.5 and score in portrait orientation at .5 , 1.5, and 2.5
This will create the piece that will provide stability for the calendar so it will stand up well on the desk.
Fold the second piece on the score marks and the piece will look like the photo shown to the right.
Place liquid glue on the two 1/2" flaps
attach each flap the inside edge of the main piece. Side one
side two
The base is done.
Now cut Seaside Spray card stock 4 x 5.25 and attach to card front.
Use the Jar Punch and punch out a jar from Flowers For Every Season designer series paper
Place some adhesive on the back "lid" portion of the jar and wrap Flowers For Every Season silver and blue thread around, make a bow and attach with a glue dot.
Stamp the brushes image from Crafting Forever stamp set with Momento Black ink. Color the brushes with a variety of colors and fussy cut them out keeping just enough to fasten behind the top edge of the jar. Attach this with adhesive.
Attach the entire jar and brush combo with regular and mini dimensionals.
Cut a piece of Night of Navy 3.25 x 2.25 and use Stampin' Seal+ to attach to the front. Use the same adhesive to attach the tear off calendar. This needs to be a very strong adhesive or your calendar won't stay stuck.
Use the die from Stitched So Sweetly dies to cut out the tag for the sentiment then stamp the sentiment with Night of Navy and attach with Dimensionals.
